Braber Equipment was founded in 1969 by Bill Braber in Abbotsford, BC Canada after immigrating from Holland with his young family. In 1991, Nick Braber created BE Pressure Supply to manufacture pressure washers to be sold to the agriculture dealers who were already purchasing from Braber Equipment. Using the same values, BE Pressure quickly became its own manufacturing company. Starting with one unit at a time, they created a reputation for high-quality and reliable pressure washers in the Canadian market. BE Pressure expanded quickly in the US market along with international export. It has gone on to diversify its production to produce other types of Power Equipment.ction to produce other types of Power Equipment.

Today, BE Power Equipment is a global manufacturer of Pressure washers, Air Compressors, Power generators, Water pumps, logs splitters and forced air heaters serving the industrial markets in over 30 countries. Third generation owner Curtis Braber continues to build on the values instilled from the previous generations along with an engaged team, continuing the development and growth of the BE brand.

Required Air Volume

The chart below includes some common air tools and their average CFM measurements.

Reference this chart to determine what continuous CFM rating is required of your air compressor. Air tools are often rated as "Average CFM". "Average CFM" is typically based on a 25% duty cycle (15 seconds out of a min.). This sometimes creates a problem with tools that are used on a continuous basis (ex. orbital sanders, die grinders, etc.). Nailers and impact wrenches typically don't have the same problem since they are used more intermittently. If you plan on using an air tool on a continuous basis, it is best to multiply the "Average CFM" x 4 to get a continuous CFM rating for the tool.
