BE Power Equipment has identified fraudulent activity involving unauthorized individuals impersonating our company and its employees. These third parties are using multiple methods, including emails, letters, and phone calls, to mislead customers and vendors. This includes:
- False claims that BE Power Equipment has changed its banking information
- Requests for payments to unauthorized accounts
- Impersonation of BE employees to place purchase orders to existing and new vendors and redirect shipments after they have shipped
- Distribution of fraudulent credit applications to establish supplier relationships
Please be advised:
BE Power Equipment has not changed its banking information. We will not request payment or banking changes of any kind. Furthermore, any requests involving inbound shipment changes or re-directs, or supplier onboarding, must be independently verified.
Customers:
BE Power Equipment is not changing its banking information. Any communication indicating otherwise is fraudulent.
Vendors and Prospective Suppliers:
If you are contacted by someone claiming to represent BE Power Equipment for purchasing, credit applications, or supplier setup, you must verify their identity before proceeding. Do not ship product or extend credit without confirmation.
Always verify the sender’s email address. Scammers use lookalike domains to mislead you. The only authorized BE Group emails come from: @bepressure.com, @begroup.ca, @brabereq.com, and @barens.com.
If you receive any suspicious communication, contact BE Power Equipment immediately using verified contact information. We are actively addressing this matter and remain committed to protecting our customers, suppliers, and partners.
